Letter Notice of Salary Increase

Letter Notice of Salary Increase

Dear Professor Jenkins,

I am pleased to inform you that the Board of Regents has approved the 2010-2012 salary increases.

As you may know, the state legislature split the pay plan into two phases: 30% of the total to be effective May 1, 2010 and the other 70% to be effective July 1, 2011.

As a result, your salary rate [if appropriate: which includes a promotion to Faculty Head or which includes a base adjustment of $850 will be $1,200 effective August 1, 2010 and $1,500 effective June 1, 2009.

Your paycheck for the month of July (paid on August 1, 2010) will reflect your first increase.

If you have questions, please contact the administrative offices.

Letter Salary Increment

Dear [Manager Name],

I would like to express my general satisfaction in the position I currently hold in [company name], but would like to draw your attention to one particular matter that is a bit unsettling.

As you are aware, there has been a significant increase in my workload lately. [Write here a sentence stating how much more you are accomplishing now preferably with numbers and facts]. A larger amount of work is being accomplished in the same frame of time. This increase does not bother me at all. On the contrary, I have always considered myself as a hardworking person and I am ready to speed up my pace accordingly. This is a challenge to my abilities that I cheerfully accept.

Having said so, I would like to kindly ask you to acknowledge my efforts and dedication by considering a salary adjustment. Such an amendment will only result in increased enthusiasm to accomplish even more in less time.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
[Your name]

Dear [Manager Name],

I would like to express my general satisfaction in the position I currently hold in [company name], but would like to draw your attention to one particular matter that is a bit unsettling.

As you are aware, my work timings have been increased lately. [Write here a sentence stating how much you used to work before and how much now]. I have no objection to this change what so ever. On the contrary, I consider myself as a hardworking person and I am ready to step in whenever it is required. I view this adjustment as a chance to gain more experience in less time and consider it as a career development move.

Having said so, I think it would only be fair if my salary is adjusted to match the increase in my working hours. I kindly ask you to look into my rightful request as I have full confidence in your good judgment.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
[Your name]

This is to bring to your notice that this month also my salary has not been credited in my account. I have been facing this problem from past three months and would like to tell you that I am staying alone and I have to pay the rent by the 5th of every month and i also have expenditures. This is very annoying and I did inform about this last month also, I checked with the bank and they in turn told me that there is some problem from the finance department of our company and It has to be rectified by them.

As per your instruction I wrote a mail to the finance manager and explained my problem and he ascertained that going forward this would not happen. It’s already tenth of the month and very disturbing for me as I cannot concentrate on my work as I have all my bills piled up and the landlord is getting annoyed. I request you to please look into the matter and solve it. Please credit my salary for this month as soon as possible.

Looking forward to your reply.

Sincerely,

Your name
